File Upload Field

Illustration for LumoPages Help: File Upload Field

The File Upload field lets respondents attach a document or image to their submission — resumes, photos, supporting PDFs, and more. Each file can be up to 10 MB, and uploads count toward your plan's media storage (Basic 30 MB, Plus 200 MB, Pro 1 GB).

Add a File Upload field

  1. Open your Lumo in the editor and select the stage where you want the upload.
  2. From Field Blocks, add File Upload.
  3. Set the question label, optional description, and whether the field is required.
  4. Save and publish when ready.

What respondents can upload

  • Images: JPEG, PNG, GIF, WebP
  • Documents: PDF, Word (DOC/DOCX), Excel (XLS/XLSX), TXT, CSV
  • Archives: ZIP (stored as a single file; max 10 MB)

Unsafe or mismatched file types are rejected by the server.

Where files appear

  • Open Submissions for the project and open a response — file fields show a download link.
  • Uploaded files are stored in your account storage but are not listed in the Media Library gallery (they stay attached to submissions).
