Verifying Your Phone Number with WhatsApp

LumoPages can send important account notifications to your phone via WhatsApp — for example, when someone submits a response to one of your Lumos. To protect your privacy and prevent messages from going to the wrong person, we only send WhatsApp notifications to a verified mobile number that you confirm with a one-time code.
Why verify your phone?
- Security: A short code sent to WhatsApp proves you own that number before we save it on your account.
- Accurate delivery: Notifications such as new form submissions are sent only to your verified number — never to an unconfirmed or outdated entry.
- One number per account: Each verified phone can be linked to only one LumoPages account.
How to verify your number
- Open Account Management: From your dashboard, go to Account Management → Profile (or the phone verification section).
- Enter your mobile number: Use your Israeli mobile number (for example,
05X-XXX-XXXX). Landlines cannot receive WhatsApp codes. - Request a code: Tap Send code. You will receive a WhatsApp message from Lumo Pages with a 6-digit code. Codes expire after 10 minutes.
- Enter the code: Type the 6-digit code and confirm. When verification succeeds, your number appears as Verified in your profile.
Until verification completes, your number is not used for WhatsApp notifications. A pending code does not count as a connected phone.
Changing your phone number
To update your number, enter the new mobile number and complete verification again. Your previous verified number stays active until the new code is confirmed successfully. Only then do we replace the number on your account.
Rate limits and troubleshooting
- Wait at least one minute between code requests for the same number.
- You can request up to five codes per hour per number.
- After five incorrect code attempts, request a new code.
- Make sure WhatsApp is installed and the number can receive messages from business accounts.
- If you still have trouble, contact support@lumopages.com.
Email verification for your login address is separate from phone verification. See Signing Up for a New Account for email confirmation during registration.
